Santa Barbara Tasting Room

Located in the historic Presidio neighborhood of downtown Santa Barbara, our tasting room at 813 Anacapa Street, Suite B, offers a rare opportunity to explore the wines of Au Bon Climat, Clendenen Family Vineyards, and Jim Clendenen’s many inspired projects. Guests can enjoy both current releases and rare library selections, thoughtfully presented by our knowledgeable staff, who are dedicated to guiding you toward the perfect bottle.

With more than 100 wines available for purchase, including Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the heart of ABC’s reputation, as well as over 16 additional grape varieties, our collection is as diverse as it is exceptional. Our wines are beautifully balanced, age gracefully, and have been celebrated for decades.

Drawing on over 40 years of winemaking, we have built one of the most extensive wine libraries in Santa Barbara. An ever-changing selection of these cellar-aged wines is featured in our tastings and available for purchase, making them a truly special gift for the wine enthusiast in your life. For those seeking something extraordinary, large-format bottles, from magnums to jeroboams, are also available.

Compared to other wineries in California, the tasting is reasonably priced. Wines are wonderful, especially, counting the wine price into consideration. I had been a fan of Au Bon Climat, but now am a big fan. The magnum bottles and the aniversary wines in the regular bottle were awesome. We purchased a lot of bottles which are usually not available except the ABC tasting room. We will definitly come back when we are around in the future.

When we arrived, we were seated at our reserved spot by a kind young man, and given water in a carafe with glasses. I had a glass of grenache being familiar with ABC, but my guest was a first timer. The young man who took care of us was so knowledgeable and shared this knowledge in a way that helped a newbie understand what an amazing experience it was to taste these wines. I highly recommend this location to anyone visiting Santa Barbara.
