A Friendship: Jim Clendenen, a man who cherished milestones, created “Jim and Bob’s 20th Anniversary” Pinot Noir in 2008 to celebrate two decades of winemaking at their Bien Nacido Vineyards winery. This wine pays homage to his enduring partnership with Bob Lindquist, the founder of Qupe Winery, who also shared the winery space with Au Bon Climat, now under his Lindquist Family Label.

“The Shed”: The winery’s unassuming appearance – an unpretentious metal building – earned it the fitting nickname “The Shed,” coined by a respected British wine writer, exactly who remains murky.
